Title: Extra hour snoozing this weekend
Post by: Tenhens on October 26, 2018, 22:46
It's that time ( no pun intended ! )   to enjoy an extra hour in slumber with the clocks going back.

I don't mind it once I've got over the first darker night, but it'll be lighter in the mornings.

A lot of us may well waste the extra hour checking that all the clocks that don't change automatically are done. How many of us will find the extra one three days later?  :)

I have a child who is awake as early as me and I could hear him tossing and turning restlessly at 4.30!  I was awake anyway and surprisingly so was my husband so the wee lad came in beside us for a bit and by 5.15 I was up.  The "wee" lad is 9 but apparently will grow out of his early starts but he's been like this since he was born though so I'm not holding my breath.  His younger sister surfaced at 6.45.  I struggle with the clocks changing.

Ah yes, five months of cycling home from work in the dark, dealing with idiotic drivers with excessively bright badly aligned headlights, or who can't be bothered to dip them.
