hi all,

is there anywhere to get the basics on showing your veg?  garden veg that is?

we have a small villlage show coming up and would like to take part as such, well for the kids really thinking if they can win some sort of a prize they may get a bit more interested. anyways got some nice onions not big ones just sort of handfull sized, runner beans carrots and beetroot,, 

main question is regarding the onions as there are 2 categories, one says green onion i presume this is when the skins are peeled away? but i also have a lot which still have the skins on as they were dug up do i peel this outer skins off?
