please help ive sowed some savoy cabbage on the windowsill they have germinated fine but they look very leggy about 11/2 to 2" high and some look as though they are going to fall over should i now pot them on into larger pots they are in little seed pots at the mo

oh and ive got tomatoes doing well abot an inch high with two good leaves on them should i also pot these into 3" pots

I'd go with around this time.

I sow mine mid April in an UNHEATED greenhouse, one seed to a plant plug seed tray insert. When large enough to handle, pot up into 3" pots. This gives them a good start and ensures better germination than outside. They do not need heat and I would re-iterate what I posted on another thread about beetroot, that heat is not benefical to all plants. and only makes them leggy & weak.

prick em out into 3 inch pots now and just set em in a cool place
