My runner beans are doing well but there are a couple of gaps that keep taunting me   Would it be too late to pop some extra in?

I have just filled my gaps with plants which were sown at the beginning of the month. I wouldn't have thought it was too late.
Soak the seed and germinate on damp kitchen roll paper. Plant them in a well watered hole and they should be well away.

Its good to sow some late seeds so as to get late crop until the frosts come. Generally up to the end of June is fine but even early July will be OK if the weather remains good later in the year.
