Chicken breeds

Hi

Not sure if anybody can help, we collected 3 hens on Saturday and the breeder we got them from said that they were Ida Browns (not sure if thats spelt correctly?). I can't see refer to this breed at all anywhere, can anybody help? They are a light brown colour with white at the tips of their tails?

I think he meant ISA browns. Good egg layers, the kind they use for commercial (cage) egg production.

Thats them! Thank you very much for that. There 16 weeks at the moment, any idea when they'll start to lay?! I'm so impatient and love them to bits already!!
