In my greenhouse the Cucumbers are at the far end where I can keep the humidity a bit higher.

Then I plant a row of Tomatoes along the path of my greenhouse, that gives them maximum growing height to the ridge.

Then I grow Melons along the sides of the house - because I can easily set up horizontal training wires on the frame ...

So I was thinking of putting the Peppers (one variety of Sweet, three varieties of Chillies) in between the two - i.e. in a single row between Tomatoes and Melons.

They would all have to share the same growing conditions, and I wonder if I would be shooting myself in the foot?

Maybe I should do a double row of Toms, in the half of the greenhouse nearest the door, and then a double row of Peppers at the further half, so I can keep the humidity higher there?

There are a lot more folk here wiser than me.  I grow my pepper in the same conditions as my toms and always get a great crop.

If these plants were all growing in the ground in a hot country, as they do in Greece, for example, they would all have the same conditions......hot and dry, just being watered at the roots and give wonderful crops :)
So personally, I have never understood the recommendations for higher humidity for any of them ::)

Excellent! Thanks all ... I think it will be much easier to have three rows, rather than three "blocks"

My porch has a melon (currently flowering), pepper (currently fruiting) and a tom (grew so giant it had to move outside - currently flowering/fruiting) in it. So they seem happy enough together :)
