Newbie allotmenteer from Eastbourne
« on: August 06, 2015, 16:47 »
Hi, I'm Sunny and I've just taken on a 5 rod plot [I've had a hard time translating what 5 rods is in normal measures LOL].

I live in Eastbourne, and have been growing food for 5 years, trying to use natural methods only, no pesticides/roundup and applying permaculture principles.

I am delighted to be part of the allotment community... so friendly, so generous and what a blissful place to just chill out and get into some good honest hard labour.. and eventually reap the fruits and veggies of that labour..

Sunny Soleil - natural healing v pharma, permaculture v monoculture, natural building v concrete, free energy v fossil fuel, organic v processed food.  Trying to live more lightly on the land

Welcome to the site  :D

5 rods is about 150sq yards  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

This is an old thread from 2015 and the OP hasn't logged on since, so I think all the hellos are a bit wasted in this case  :(
