Amazing what you can all do -- where do you find the time?

By ignoring the dusting, ironing and cooking- but it is too hot to go outside still in the afternoon and due to get up to over 40 deg again for the next 4 days. 

I have made 2 teddy keyrings and a dog key ring, will post a photo later on too.

I only used to sew/embroider in the winter when I was in Greece - it was useless to try when it was hot because my fingers were too sticky

Yes lovely cake Dawn.  I used to love making and decorating cakes for my girls when they were younger, but not having the steadiest of hands, one year I put one of those iron on transfers of a basket of flowers on the cake (no I didn't iron it on!! lol) pin pricked all around the design, then iced round the pin pricks.  It looked good, although cheating! lol

Yes, Pamela and I met through a cross stitching forum, and we first met at a craft fair some years later at Alexander Palace (even though Pamela forgot what I looked like when we met again this February!!!  AND I wore the same blouse!  )

I have sold all the teddy bears and dogs I have made- I have orders for at least 8 more bears- I aim to sell enough to pay for the vets bills for the dog that died and Timon.
So why am I here?  If you see me here toll me to go away

Sold 26€ worth so far! Will soon pay vets bill   iI have found a cat pattern, looking forward to trying them  
Been asked if I can make a bigger bear, so enlarged the pattern and will give it a try

I wish I had the patience to sew! 

I'm lucky in that there are lots of little haberdashery and craft shops close to me, and crafting is something that gets taken quite seriously as a family thing to do.

My "thing" though is beaded jewelry, both stringing and stitching, though I haven't had much time recently.

It is something I really enjoy doing on winter nights when I can't be out riding my horse.

I've lost count of the times people have asked if I sell my projects - I don't, but I enjoy making things as gifts, and if anyone admires a piece I've been known to make a copy for them.  I don't like taking money for them though!
