Clear blue skies, warm and still. Has the makings of a very hot day.  Very warm overnight having been up since 4am I'm knackered already.

A sticky night here as well 
It's 25C already here, with only a slight breeze atm, forecast says it will get stronger - hope they're right this time 
I must remember to water the greenhouses well (last use of hosepipe today) and fill up a spare tub in each as well

Hot and airless.  Watered about 5.30, will water again about 11.30pm before the hose pipe ban comes in.

Following a hot sticky night, very hot & Sunny here, too warm for me by 9a.m, retreated to the shade of indoors with all doors & windows shut, blinds drawn on the sunny side of the house

31.4C now, and still on a rising trend according to the local weather station. 

Just about the same upstairs indoors even with all windows, curtains and blinds closed - am really not looking forward to bedtime tonight!

I've done the opposite of most of you.... front and back doors both open for the through draft, which means it is only 24C inside  I know I'm lucky living on an out of the way terrace, with very few people using the footpath. From where I'm sitting I can see anybody that walks past....

It's actually quite pleasant today.  Temperature 26 C (though the heat index is more like 33 C).  It is overcast and still, we had a brief sprinkle earlier, but nothing to fuss about.

I’ve had windows shut and curtains drawn all day.  I have thermal blackout curtains in most rooms, which are also very good at keeping heat out from hot window panes, but the kitchen and dining room windows face south and don’t have them.  I have a makeshift solution of some debris netting fixed up over them outside and that really helps.

Now back door and upstairs windows are open to get the air moving through the house.  It is 27 degrees C inside now, but got it down to 24 last night.  A hot water bottle kept in the fridge all day can assist sleeping if your bedroom is very hot.

A repeat of yesterday so far - clear blue skies and very still, so I expect it's going to get hot again.  It's been a pretty constant 27c indoors despite my best efforts. There's little point in opening windows here as there's no breeze at all but I'm still following the shade.

I noticed that a number of houses on the main road have stuck foil to the inside of their windows to reflect the sun - not nice for drivers who are likely to get dazzled by the reflections  .

I suppose it's all relative as it feels too hot already - outside 25º and inside just over 20ºC - glad we're not in the south-east heading up the 30s!

Groundhog day - almost to the exact decimal place (inside and out. )

Very hot here inside & out. Here’s a screenshot from my new thermometer for today. The drop is from when I brought the thermometer back inside.
It did reach 38.4c but it had ended up in the sun
