I put a bag of frozen braising beef in the slow-cooker overnight, meaning to make a pie. Now I can't be bothered  - it feels like too much faffing around making/rolling the pastry
I'll just serve some of the beef with cauliflower cheese and green beans ftf.

I swear the CBA fairy must have magic powers like Santa as she appears to be in more than one place at once 

I CBA to eat yesterday so forced myself to use up the last of the frozen lamb mince with some sludge mash  and mixed veg.

I have been a bit frazzled with extra hours at job no 2 for the last few weeks, so the CBA fairy has been making herself felt here as well and I’ve ended up a few hit and miss teas.

Day off today, plus managed to get to the plot this morning and come back with a whole bucket of veg, so in honour of that we’ve had stir-fry with pork and plot spring onions and greens.

Tomorrow I am planning a big cottage pie batch cook with swede and turnip from the plot and onion and spuds from the shed

I needed to bake bread today, so bit the bullet and made the pastry for the rest of the beef,  plus a few sultana scones, as well.
I'll probably overdose on the carbs, for a few days, but at least the oven was filled

Leftover roast pork from Sunday with leftover Yorkshire puds & gravy with fresh roast potatoes & parsnips,carrots & sprouts, no peas as we’ve run out & I forgot to buy more this afternoon

I had leftover mash taking up space in the fridge, used it up in a corned beef hash. Key was missing from the tin which I wasn't pleased about, had to get the pliers out to open it safely.

Particularly when you're a miserable curmudgeon like me  Today's dinner calamity comes in the form of a chicken breast I took out to defrost this morning .... which hasn't, the plan was for sweet and sour chicken.

I might end up with spicy wedges, sliced corn beef and beans.
