I'm made a huge bowl of coleslaw and I've got corn on the cob. I'll cook my fave fish in lemon & Pepper breadcrumbs and I've got new supplies of the usual salad stuff, if the plate needs filling up  :D

Won't be buying that chicken again - just chicken breast hammered flat and marinated in synthetic curry sauce, may have been better on a bbq but I doubt it.

Pizza tonight - Can't see how that could possibly go wrong, it's just a hot cheese and tomato sandwich after all  ::)

But you make it sound so appetising  :nowink:  I take it that was the coronation chicken flattie then?

I also made a big bowl of coleslaw last night, with plot cabbage and onion.  We had chicken breast cooked on the bone and some oven chips with it.

I had a stir-fry yesterday with pork strips and the usual veg and sweet chilli sauce'
Today, I've got lamb defrosting for kebabs, probably a few chips and salad with them.

Sorry NS perhaps the M&S's description would be better, even if it happens to be hogwash :nowink:
Quote
Tender chicken escalopes in a mango marinade with a sachet of curried spiced sweet sauce. Pan-fry or grill for 8 to 12 minutes and drizzle the sauce over the Flatties

.. and don't get me started on last nights pizza,  "vegan friendly" cheese   :nowink:  :nowink: I'm really going to have to pay more attention to what I'm buying.

Sawhedge, mash and cabbage tonight even if it's completely the wrong weather for it.

We’ve got lamb steaks tonight, I’m sure there’ll be french beans with them, but I’m hankering after something spicy & fruity with them but himself will just want potatoes.
Now for lunch yesterday I had a lovely Thai Masserman(?) beef curry & a pork spring roll at a local feast festival that hit the spot beautifully

I discovered some giant cucumbers on the plot yesterday that had evaded detection and were hiding under the leaves.  They must have learned that trick from the courgettes

Anyway, peeled and de-seeded them and sprinkled with salt to get rid of excess water.  Lightly squeezed out they made a good stir-fry.  It was pork loin steak cut into strips and cooked with preserved black beans in chilli oil and some noodles to go with them  :)

I’m not going to help.  We have curry tonight. I made the base yesterday morning before things heated up too much, so just got to fry some chicken and add the sauce to cook it through.

I have stashed a tub of curry base in the freezer for emergency use later   ;)

Finishing the sawhedges off, more mash as mid-week chips doesn't feel right.
