Cold roast chicken ( we roasted it this morning whilst it was cooler) steamed new potatoes & salad for me, himself has just said he might have a chicken sandwich.

I have been living on sandwiches for dinner for about the last week.  Varied, bread, flat bread, a roll and ham or cheese filling with loads of lettuce. scrummy in this heat.

Cooked a pork chop in apple juice in the slow-cooker, served with the first pick of Mennonite Purple Stripe beans (YUM!) and baby new potatoes HG Logan and Tayberries with ice cream for afters  :D

Lamb grill steaks plus salads I made early today before work - couscous with plot fennel and green beans, plus Lebanese cabbage salad with plot cabbage.

Spicy fish cake with veg rice, then next door passed over strawberries that had been marked down at supper market, we have lovely neighbours either side of us  :D

Chicken stir-fry, easy and v quick, plus plot Tayberries & raspberries with squirty cream afterwards  :)

Was going to be more of the cold roast chicken & salad but on looking in the fridge this morning I spied the rest of the fish pie from Sunday with freshly picked peas, plot carrots & french beans. Parsley sauce in the pie was plot grown too  :)

Leftover salads and an Italian cold meat selection for me that I brought home from work.  OH had quiche and salad earlier.

Best I could manage was beans on toast which I then lovingly drowned with tabasco in an attempt to deblandify it.

Last night a large mixed salad with cold meats colslaw and pickles beetroot from the garden, pud banana and yoghurt.
Tonight turkey steak in bread crumbs few chips and bake beans  :)

I'm seriously in need of a real meal tonight so I'm going to brave the oven and the hob. The plan is for pie and mash with chunky mixed veg covered in spoonstanding.
