Beef mince defrosting - I should make a couple of cottage pies and the spud have already started to sprout but it's likely to end up as chilli.
Cubed up spuds are quite nice in a chilli. They can take the place of beans or be an addition.
Just parboil for a few minutes until half cooked, then chuck them in to soak up some sauce.
