‘Twas supposed to be sliced beef in gravy, but neither of us fancied it when I’d brought sirloin steak from the farm shop today lol so steak, chips with a bit of roast veg & salad bits & probably a fried egg for himself & a few mushrooms for me.
More strawberries for pud

Fish pie and peas.  We also had bubbly as it's Paul's birthday.  (I donated half my glass to a pot plant as it was very sweet). :nowink:

Spaghetti with a tomato and garlic sauce.  A few prawns chucked in for good measure.  Tender stem broccoli for veg.

Pasta and pesto - didn't want it . didn't enjoy, didn't taste better with cheese

It did however use up the last of the fusilli, the last dregs of white wine vinegar, the last bit of pesto and what was left of the parmesan. So the unsatisfying dinner was at least balanced by the satisfaction of having a good clear out.  :nowink: Simple things  ::)

I could tell you I had something amazingly exotic, or something that took hours to cook, but the truth?
.

.
Ok in a really bad CBA moment - I ate the whole packet of 6 Brioche chocolate chip rolls  Carb overload is making me feel sleepy already  :nowink:

I dunno - it depends if they were put on a plate first or just eaten straight out of the packet

Mince tonight - it was going to be chilli but looking at the weather outside cottage pie might be more appropriate.

Sometimes you just have to go with a misdemeanour.  At least you ate something  ;)

Tonight’s does sound nicer though  :D

We defrosted the little chest freezer today and found several packs of snacks left over from earlier in the year.  So an assortment of these which empties up quite a bit of space.  Most packs only had two or three   portions left.   Easy dinner but very tasty.
