MandS prawns in batter with some sort of dip...

Mrs Growster hates them and they're taking up too much room in the freezer, so her man has to step up and take the flak!

They're fabulous so who's a lucky chap then?

Out of curiosity I visited our local community larder.  Ten items for £2. Came away with potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, Pak choi and minced venison.  So ' cottage pie' for us last night. Also picked up some blueberries and bread.  They were about to bin some use by posh baby food so I nabbed that for the dog who is getting picky about food.

A success

a complete lack of enthusiasm to peel some spuds.
Go on, you can do it, you know you can
I'm not gonna lie, it required huge effort and took me until nearly 6pm.  ::) Today I have the opposite problem. There's mash but nothing else, unless I can find anything more interesting lurking in the freezer, it looks like sawhedge and mash again.

getting lazier.   Two crumpets with marmite and a lump of cheese and a thai cuppa soup.   Raging thirst all night  ::)

Sounded like a lot of effort if you ask me Mrs B.  For ultimate CBA but still classed as food, try a pouch of microwave rice (one of the exotic ones tilda does) and one of the John west inspiration flavoured tuna tins dumped in it -  2 Mins, even beats nuking a spud  ;)

Id didn't get round to the bangers and mash yesterday so I'm trying again today.

Potato and spinach curry, rice and yogurt.

Finally got to the end of the bumper bag of new potatoes I got from work.  Suckered by a bargain, but it was a lot of spuds
