I had planned on noodles and pork in some sort of hoisin sauce, but as the weather is rubbish yet again I thought another roast piggy dinner was in order. As a bonus there's enough left over for tomorrow but that'll be the last of it  :(  I do find there's something deeply satisfying about roast piggy :tongue2: .

Cottage pie with a base made of 50/50 beef mince and green lentils, carrot, onion and a few other bits, plus some gravy.  Some green veg served with it.

I was late doing dinner yesterday so halved what was there rather than eat too much late at night.  There's a small dinner left for today and I might as well open a can of rice pudding rather than make a large one.

Jacket potato for me, probably with cheese and tuna while Paul has a kebab from some diced pork he has fund in the freezer.  He'll put some saurkraut with it which I don't like.

..freshly harvested cabbage ..
Please describe the cabbagey goodness - in great detail  :tongue2:   :tongue2: I've not had a good cabbagey cabbage in ages, much like the sprouts they've done something to them and removed all the flavour  :(

Ahh Friday, oven chips and fish night. This weeks fish comes as chunky breaded cod fingers. No mushy peas left so it's beans and whatever is left of the mushrooms, I should put  a fresh crusty loaf in too.

Well if you insist
Harvested at 4.30pm & on my plate at 6pm, not a huge heart but plenty for just me (himself doesn’t eat it, fine , more for me) lightly washed & leaves torn not cut with a knife. Plunged into boiling water for 3/4 minutes, drained & a fresh grinding of black pepper & nutmeg & a sachet of butter buds sprinkled through it. Lovely fresh taste, with a slight bite to it.
How’s that, got you salivating yet?
Plus there’s about 6 more to come

Mine comes as a Lemon/pepper breadcrumbed fish fillet, just a few chips and plate filled up with salad bits.
