I'm defrosting chicken breast strips, will do stir fry with veg from the fridge, m/wave rice with it if I feel really hungry.

Sweet potato and chick pea curry and rice, followed by gooseberry and raspberry crumble and ice-cream.

My car was being fixed today so I walked to the plot (approx 1.5 miles), pottered for several hours and then walked home.  Some serious fuel was needed after that

Couldn't face chips yesterday and changed it to pasta bake using the sawhedges cut into chunks - wasn't great.    Back to mash tonight and something fishy as I forgot to take the chicken out the freezer this morning.  :nowink:

I took some mince out yesterday - I really fancy a nice beef an onion pie, but I'm suffering performance anxiety after a few bad pastry attempts.  :nowink:

I gave up on making pastry years ago, so much easier to buy it ready to use.  Mine will break your teeth

Tonight we've got cauliflower cheese with peas and some chicken.

My shortcrust pastry used to be fine, if not pleasant but it's gone wayward lately. We won't talk about my ruff puff or puff attempts though.  Yesterday's wasn't bad but I should have used butter and lard as all butter was a bit rich for a meat pie.

There's half the pie and mash left for tonight, although I've order the wrong mixed veg again   and there's nothing but silly small diced bits to go with it. I'll have to start ordering the individual veg I think, I'm doing that a little too often and it messes up the meal plan.

Roast chicken, roast parsnips, potatoes and carrots.  Cauliflower and gravy.  Rhubarb crumble and custard.

Rhubarb gone into over drive, eating and freezing as fast as I can.

Something with the leftover mince - It's been a while since I had rice feels like a good enough excuse to make a chilli.
