We did have pasta tonight - aubergine and tomato sauce with a bag of seafood mix chucked in as I found it in the freezer from who knows when

Unlabelled white fish from the bottom of the freezer, with Parsley sauce, peas and mash

After a trip to the fish man this morning smoked haddock risotto with peas & leeks.

The last of the breaded cod and the last of the oven chips. Will search for a can of mushy peas and a few shrooms if they're still ok to eat, as the frozen veggies are getting thin on the ground and I don't really want to do any shopping over the weekend as everything is always substituted out.

Looking at the snow, I think I'll put a casserole in the oven, for a bit of extra warmth in the kitchen/dining room.
I found an odd bit of leftover Christmas lamb in the freezer, plus lentils and lots of veggies. That'll do for the next couple of days, may make a crusty loaf for the weekend as well....

I am going to have a stir-fry once I have had a sit down and a cuppa.  OH has eaten already so I don’t need to worry about him and there are some prawns and squid rings pulled out of the seafood mix I used yesterday, plus some leftover rice.  I’ve also come home from work with a bag of stir-fry veg mix.  Chuck in the pan from frozen and all will be well … apparently 

It seems the unlikeliest thing in the world to freeze, but it actually does look quite nice.  Fingers crossed

Got any frozen peas?  Put them in a colander and drain the boiled pasta over them.  It defrosts the peas but doesn’t cook them, so it leaves them really fresh tasting.  They zap up pasta and pesto no end

Unfortunately not, used the last of the peas mixed with corn mid week with the bread cod. I've had a week of using the last little bits of things up, which I always find satisfying but the CBA's have me beat today. It's red pepper pesto so I may also dump a tin of tuna into it so as not to have an entire plate full of carbs
