Last night was steak and kidney pie, red cabbage, peas and a gallon  of gravy.

Tonight is sausage and mash.

A pasta & bolognaise bake sort of thing, with large pasta shells stuffed with a mix of soft cheeses sunk down into the bolognaise & sprinkled with more cheese. Needs a bit of work as the edges of the shells went crispy

Spaghetti, prawns, courgette and peppers in a Philly and tomato sauce.  One of what we call a 'bodge' meal to use up what we have.

Fridge gravel in some leftover rice.  Can someone remind me what I was going to make with the leeks  .

Needs a bit of work as the edges of the shells went crispy
A bechamel  under the grated cheese sorts that out nicely.  :tongue2:

Pasta bake for us tonight.

Can someone remind me what I was going to make with the leeks  .

This?

Plot leeks wrapped in bacon and fried off a bit to add some colour. Then planning to put in a dish, cover with cheese sauce, plus extra cheese on top and put in the oven for a bit.

Leeks, bacon and melty cheese - I cannot go wrong with that one   :D

I reckon some thick crusty bread is all the extras it will need  ;)

I pulled up our last few plot leeks yesterday and am planning a re-run. It was good!  :D

I think it was  wighty's  "Leek and bacon suet roly-poly in the oven" as I have a new box of suet too, 2 months is also about right for me to get around to doing something  Melty cheese, leek and bacon thingy is noted though.
Good idea, but trying to cut down on calories  ???

That is the low-cal version, I was going to suggest a mornay sauce  :D  :tongue2:

I think I'll make some savoury pancakes, for tea, just for a change. Chilli and cheese, seems a like a good combo  ;)
