Haven’t had spotty dick for years !!. My Mum used to make it in a pressure cooker , using Atora suet. It was my favourite pudding ever .
Makes me all nostalgic just thinking about it ! .

It's Friday fish night OH having birds eye, me i'm having fresh bread crumbed bass with a few chips and peas, pud it back to pineapple and yoghurt, must think of something different for over the weekend any suggestions ??

Curry made with leftover pork and some cooked beans from the freezer.  I cooked a chopped giant onion down to a melty brown mass as a base.  It made it very rich, sweet and tasty

Basmati rice with chickpeas , onion , peppers and cashew nuts , with tamari sauce .

Made a gammon-and-egg pie this morning, and Mrs Growster built a great coleslaw!

Did something stupid though; I lined the pie crust in the flan dish on baking paper, laid in the pastry, and chucked the pastry beans in without another layer of GP Paper!
