Pork with a mustard sauce could be nice served with pasta or noodles?
It's that odd time between shops and I've nothing in to make a sauce with that isn't tomato based, otherwise nice idea - I could have done that with shrooms and black pepper.

More meat and 2 veg tonight to finish the fillet. It's very tasteless, I much prefer shoulder for this sort of thing.

I just use Philadelphia at the moment, scratches an itch lol plus it has a long fridge life so I buy in bulk when it’s on offer

Which lentils are you guys adding to avoid things turning to mush , is it the green ones?

That is what I use when I want them not to mush.  Just the plain whole green lentils, not the posh puy ones.

Tonight was stir-fry and rice.  I picked all the remaining duck meat from Saturday into shreds and used chinese leaves and spring onions from the greenhouse, plus garlic, chilli, ginger, soy sauce and oyster sauce.

Green if I'm avoiding mush - today I wanted to thicken the excess gravy up, so needed mush, so used the orange split lentils  :D

Quesidillas, to use up left over chicken from yesterday.  One of Paul's favourite meals. We can only manage two tortillas, stuffed with cheese and meat, between us, how the recipe thinks we are supposed to manage one whole one each I don't know.

Dried green lentils bought - wondering if I should have gone with the tins though

Made use of Jeff's same day delivery service (a little expensive but ok for the few bits I had run out of). So I'm eyeing up either the chicken curry or sweet chilli chicken ready meals I also bought. Thankfully they had some frozen veggies which now gives me plenty of options again for rest of the week.
