Buffet style dinner tonight finishing off all those party type foods we have had half of over Christmas.  Just need putting  in the oven to heat up.

New recipe here, sweet & sticky meatballs with rice, doubled the sauce & halved the chilli as himself doesn’t like chilli  :(

Pork fillet, I can't remember what I originally bought it for (probably something noodley last summer) so it's off to the slow cooker with it unless someone else has any bright ideas?. Mash, mixed veg and spoon standing.

Pork with a mustard sauce could be nice served with pasta or noodles?

I've put some diced beef and onions into the slow-cooker, can't decide whether to make a curry or just leave it plain. Still there's plenty of time to make up my mind  :D

Snap.  Roast chicken here as well with the usual veg, roasties, carrots, leeks (Paul insists), swede and cauli. (It was reduced and will do us a couple of meals as it was quite a large one.)

Sort of cottage pie, but the base was a bit of a mishmash.

I defrosted a tub of spaghetti sauce which was about 50/50 mince and lentils.   While looking for that I found more spaghetti sauce, but this time a veggie one and only a small tub.  Then I found some hm baked beans - again a small tub.  I mixed all 3 and added cooked squash, then covered it in cheesy mash and chucked it in the oven.

It was lovely  :D

It's that odd time between shops and I've nothing in to make a sauce with that isn't tomato based, otherwise nice idea - I could have done that with shrooms and black pepper.

More meat and 2 veg tonight to finish the fillet. It's very tasteless, I much prefer shoulder for this sort of thing.
