I found yet more chicken breasts in the freezer  ::) I've been considering sweet/sour chicken balls (thought I'd try doing battered ones) but I suspect I'll end up with chicken, mash and mixed veg.

More hotpot weather here than salad, so beef hotpot it was & I might even run to custard & something for pudding

I got waylaid by the reduced to clear freezer at work, so ended up with some strange chicken creation (southern fried coated and with American gravy inside like an alternative flavoured Kiev - it was actually quite nice) and waffle fries.  I did make some hm coleslaw and a tomato salad to go with it

Stuff got in the way yesterday and I just poured the sauce over the boiled chicken and rice - bleugh but quick. I'm going to nuke a spud today as I know full well I won't be bothered to cook anything tasty with what's left of the chicken.

I've defrosted a pork steak, and then realised  I have 4 peppers in the fridge, that really need using up soon
So will roast a trayful of peppers, onions, squash and toms and add the sliced up pork towards the end and serve it over some rice. There will be loads of roast veg left, so some for tomorrow and the rest for the freezer. That'll do!

was supposed to be warm bacon and avocado salad. Cue cutting open the avocado and it's black, dry fry  the bacon and it smells. All confined to the bin so beans on toast for us tonight. Don't know what happened there.
