Cold roast chicken leftover from yesterday, today it was served with Yorkshire puds, carrots, roast potatoes, sprouts & cauliflower, plenty of gravy.
Shock horror I bought a bag of “peeled sprouts” from the local co op £1.45 for 200g, I had to re peel them !! Only reason I bought them as grandchildren are having a sleepover over & apparently B loves sprouts. Never was or will be a Granny to buy sweets.

Took out some chicken out of the freezer this morning but it's not looking promising that it will have defrosted in time.  Plan B is the pie as I feel the need for a meal covered in gravy today.  :nowink:

Stuffed peppers and some hassselback potatoes. I found a pack of quinoa in the cupboard so cooked the lot and used some in the stuffing.  The rest is frozen in tubs for later use.

Trout fillets freshly caught yesterday by our neighbours,  :D with potatoes & peppers baked in stock, with peas, carrots & cauliflower. Really enjoyed it, first trout of the new season I think?

The chicken which didn't defrost in time yesterday spiced up with a few wedges and some cauli/broc cheese.

I tried a shopping order from Trashco today as nobody else appears to be doing the chunky frozen mixed veg which I eat huge amount of any more  the mixed veg were so small they could have been floor sweepings :(  I'd go back to keeping individual bags but it takes up so much room in the freezer.

Probably the same as yesterday with the chicken and cauli/broc cheese. Need to find a different carb though.
