Leftovers - reheated liver is never as nice though, especially as I always seem to leave a tubie bit for the last bite.  ::)

The plan was for spicy chicken and rice but the weather is suggesting that mash, veg and gravy would be more sensible. I wouldn't say no to a chicken a mushroom pie either  :nowink:

My plan was for chicken & ham pie, but the piece of ham I cooked on Sunday for last nights dinner wasn’t the best so I’ve just taken out the chicken breasts & might have that in a sauce of some description. Mind you as I’ve not been well for a few weeks with a horrendous cough it could be just a slice of toast & icecream or anything else I fancy lol

Hope you feel better soon snowdrops.

Tea will be a sausage traybake - sausages are defrosting and I've got peppers and tomatoes to use up, as they're looking a bit wrinkly, and half a butternut  :nowink:

Have you had that checked out ? There are number of things which manifest early as a persistent cough. Go and get and MOT before you end up NFG and BER like me  ;)

Thanks Lards, I went emergency Drs on Friday & got antibiotics for 5 days for chest infection, had hoped to feel better yesterday. Today is a bit better, I’ve managed a walk to chickens then hubby took me to our ‘local’ Bradgate park & we had a gentle stroll along which was lovely but rather tired now.

I have left over mash and veg, probably just end up roasting the rest of the thighs. They need livening up a bit though, yesterdays were as dull as dishwater.

Pasta bake with the last portion of spag bol sauce from the freezer.  Must make some more.  I feel underprepared without it in reserve somewhere

Here it was chicken drumsticks in Barbecue sauce with hash browns and runner beans.
I made an apple pie from windfalls and ate rather too much of it  ::)
