Potatoes have been dug up- good crop
« on: May 04, 2007, 18:53 »
:D from 100 plants we got about 50k of spuds.  Decided to pull them up and not leave them in because of the blight.  Will be planting peppers and beans over the weekend.
Got a much better yield than the neighbours, their blight was really bad, ours had only just started.
Neighbours toms have got the blight too.  We have bagged up all the potato plants to take to the dump. Trying to explain to the neighbours that blight affects toms too but cant get them to understand that it is not ok to leave the spud plants to rot down right beside the toms :(

Glad you got a nice yield on your spuds Pamela, but shame you can't get the neighbours to understand, I hope it doesn't affect your tomatoes too!!!!
