Wax coating on rose
« on: May 13, 2012, 21:16 »
Hi, I have a rose bush which isn't showing any sign of life yet, however when I looked closer at it there seemed to be some kind of white wax coating on it especially at the tips of each branches which peels off. Any idea what this could be please and what do I need to do?

The growers apply it to stop the roses drying out in transit, the buds grow through it with no problem. You don't need to do anything just wait with fingers crossed  ;)

Well, I never knew that!  Every day's a school day  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
