Three of my four white chickens enjoying themselves in the soil!



This is Freckles, Daisy and LewLew having lots of fun in the paddling pool filled with soil today.

They look as if they're loving it  . They won't stay white for long

it would be lovely and cooling for them

I've put an old gardening barrel out for mine as they empty it out so quickly, it's really heavy so they can't tip it over when the soil empties. I fill it with old growbag bits, molehill soil and they spend ages in it. Why can't I look that clean when I come in from the garden

only in the winter when its muddy
