I would just like to say thankyou to everyone on the forum for being so helpful, i used to think it was only me who loved my girls as much as i do and surely other hen keepers were not as madly in love with there chooks as me, but reading many posts on here i realise there are people as barmy as me, some posts make me smile outloud and others make me feel like crying when the sad things happen to there girls...invaluable advice i am given time after time many thanks everyone fantastic forum fantastic people

We are all potty about our chickens on here and are all here to help each other - nobody has all the answers about every thing which is why this forum is so great

I agree. Peopleon here are so helpful and seem to genuinely care about other people and their chickens.

I still deny being barmy though.

absolutely agree, I have had my girls for over a year now but learn more all the time. Its nice when you feel confident enough to answer others questions too. Forum members inevitably come up with an answer to a question and are very well informed. I also like the fact that no-one feel silly asking a question and all questions are answered sensitively
