Ive been thinking of buying a wall mounted dispatcher (mainly for the bigger cockerals) but the price of them for what they are is blimmin ridiculous. So I wondered if anyone knows where to get a decently priced one or is there a DIY guide out there as I enjoy fabricating things like this.

I did a quick google search and found this one for an astonishing £45!!! not including p&p.

Oh it's gone up £32.99 now, but they also have a smaller hand held one.

Thing is, that wall mounted one will last you for years!

Thanks, yep that was one of the others I saw on a google. I cant help thinking I could modify a garden gate latch at least for the bit that wall mounts then bulk up the bit that latches down and of course make the neck cradle wider, I could use dexion or small box section. If I give this a shot i'll post up some pics. Im sure when I looked into these about 6 months ago I found one for a more reasonably priced 5.99 or 7.99 but maybe I was imagining it.

I've never seen them that cheap nuzuki, but good luck with the gate latch.  Let us know how it goes, but make sure it works properly!
