Our local garden centre has a big barrel full of filla bag compost for 35p a kilo, is this any good, or should I buy the proper stuff?

Going on info from a previous forum thread there are 40 x 75 ltr bags to the ton which makes a bag 25kg multiplied by your 35p a kilo = £8.75 ...............not very cheap.

Just off to weigh a bag of B&Q compost

A 70 ltr bag weighed 18 kilo , if you buy 3 bags for £10 that makes it 18.5p per kilo.
