« on: February 03, 2011, 17:36 »
As an aide memoire and to help those of us who are fairly new to this game can we post what seeds we have sown in modules for planting out later, inorder to get a head start - many thanks.

Supporting British farmers and growers ...it's never too late to start

Last Friday I asked my Dad if he had sowed his tomatoes yet. He replied that he usually sows them around now, but sometimes it is too early and he has to throw them away.
He usually gives me a few plants and they are good ones, so I sowed a few tomato seeds on Tuesday.
It is a bit risky, and they may end up too tall to be any good, but it has satisfied my need to sow something for the present.

If they are any good I shall pot them up and keep them in the house/greenhouse depending on the temperature.
I intend to put them permanently in the unheated greenhouse some time in April.

Wow, I  haven't sown anything yet.  I don't think I've even bought all my seeds.

I don't have an electric propagator so I've not bothered.  I wouldn't normally start tomatoes until mid to the end of February.  I have to remember that quite a few of you live in the South, so I generally start 2 or 3 weeks later in Liverpool.
