I've grown them and they're easy peasy, just like any other bean

When they dry on the plant they will attract mice, who love them. So you can either be quick sharp in harvesting them as they drop, or pull up the entire plant and dry it in a shed or cool, dry place with something underneath to catch the beans as they will drop out readily as the plant dries up.  They keep their red colour when dry  :)

Yes they are. You can use borlotti beans like baked beans.  I bought a tin in Turkey, once, in tomato sauce  :tongue2:
