Have been recommended to try theses peas and am informed the plant grow to 6ft tall,has anyone got advice how to keep the pigeons off  the peas without having to build a cage
around the whole crop?

you cold try hanging cd's up - to scare the birds away - but i think you will have to net them - poundland have 6m by 4m pea and bean netting - which is what i use.

I just kept the tops covered with fleece/net curtains pegged to the support canes The birds only seemed interested in the new growth and flowers.
