I have about 5 pumpkins just under football size on my one plant they are currently about half orange colour half green.

The plant has no leaves left as they all went grey and died but the stems leading to the pumkins still seem green.

So just not sure whats best to do now really , should i leave everything as it is until they ripen totally (which is what i have done last 3 weeks really) or cut them off. Or anything else i could do?

I would leave them to it for a few more weeks, i think i read somewhere the best time to pick pumpkins is mid-late September, they should all turn orange by then - good luck

If they haven't grown anymore and are now starting to change colour than I'd take them home to finish curing/ripen.

No risk of damage by vandals etc plus you can also prepare the bed for next year etc.

I've started to bring mine home.

They've all turned orange (14 off 3 plants), and the leaves are dying back so to fruit is visible.

Don't want the locals playing football with them as can happen.
