We have thought about it Kebi but decided that the plastic was too thin. They are quite light weight compared to the plastic coops and would be blown away or broken by the high winds we can get from the Moors.

Still trying to save up but we changed our minds again. As we have reduced the amount of chickens we are keeping, we're going for one of these instead. http://www.solwayrecycling.co.uk/recycled-shop/pig-poultry/hen-houses/standard-eco-hen-house

It is both cheaper and bigger than the GFD house we we're going to buy. Hope to have the new house by the end of Jan.

We`ve just got one of these, heavy but strong. Had a wooden coop for years, but it rotted.

My new coop is here! I bought a green, standard eco hen house from Solway recycling in the end. Solway have been fab and the coop looks great, not at all ugly, it will be perfect for the new chicken run.  :D

The run is not finished yet but really hope we can complete it and set the new coop up at the weekend. Will post a pic when it's all done.
