Anybody know what you do with Hyssop? I've grown some because the name sounds nice. More slack gardening.
And... nobody told me how big borage was - it's a monster but pretty. I've grown it with me strawbs but it's much bigger than them
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Hyssop - young leaves in salads

Otherwise into soups and stews, especially with game and oily meats (incl fish)

Hyssop is very good for coughs and colds, make a cup of tea /infusion with a handful.

borage is great for adding to the compost bin  :)  and helpfully self seeds itself everywhere so one packet of seeds goes an awful long way  :wink:

don't know much about hyssop...
Gardening organically on chalky, stony soil.

Use the Borage flowers in Pimms, with a bit of mint. They are milder than cucumber, but lovely. Decorative too. The leaves are a cucumber sub too, but a bit hairy!
