Border Patrol
« on: March 27, 2019, 11:05 »
Going along  the harbour on the bus yesterday, the passengers were all talking about this ship.  It was painted grey, and looked like a very small naval vessel, the side had 'Border Patrol' painted across it.  On the bow and stern there was some equipment fitted which could have been winches or similar.     Later, on the news,  it said that there had been quite a few men taken away by police etc, from a large building site on Worthing sea front (a superior block of flats  :D)   I saw this happening when on the bus, and just thought an incident had occurred.  Of course it was the police and border control .  I wonder how they caught up with these men working illegally, apparently they were the huge crane operators.  Oh the exciting life I lead  8)  Mrs Bouquet

chances are their id did not work, so the site owners will get a huge fine as well as the owner of their rental property

I have heard today, that the site owners and the main builders have denied responsibility saying that the crane company was a contracted specialist firm from London.     Watch this space as they say.   Mrs Bouquet
