Title: Computer Cookies
Post by: mrs bouquet on September 04, 2018, 18:53
These often come up when I am exploring on Google - say a recipe , gardening, etc.   They ask me to accept, do I have to.  What will happen if I do - What will happen if I don't ?   regards Ms Bouquet

It's information stored on your machine by the website you're visiting. If you don't accept them sites might not work properly or fully. It's a trade off between ease of use vs privacy.

If you are not happy with them set your pc to delete them when you shut down.

I often ignore them and the site works well. If it's a site I trust then I accept them. If it's a site I haven't used before and it won't let me on, I shut it down.
