5 Root Soup
« on: February 28, 2009, 22:32 »
I made the Hugh Fearnley Whatsits 5 Root Soup as a way of using up some of our prolific Jerusalem Artichoke mountain. Fed it to 16 people and loads of people asked for the recipe. I find I'm really not keen on Jerusalem Artickoes but they were fine in this.

Don't know how much of that address should be there, so you may need to delete a bit ::)

We will be digging some more JA up today so this may come in handy.  We usually only tend to make soup from them as they don't last long after they've been dug up and soup is the quickest thing to do with them.

I dug up the rest of mine yesterday and managed to give away most of them, I'd didn't like to waste them but didn't want to eat them
