My belt on my rotavator keeps burning,  it’s an  Alko mode - any help ?

There could be a dozen reasons for that.
The usual reason would be a belt that isn't adjusted correctly, or perhaps you are trying to dig too deeply too soon?
Which Alko have you got?

Sounds like you are overloading the tynes, ease off on the depth you are trying to till, does the belt burn when there is no load on the tynes?

That's the same model I've got.
I've never had any problems with mine at all. I suspect that you may be going in a little too deep with it in one go, or the ground is very heavy (clay-soil)
I suppose that there could be a fault with the machine, but without seeing it I couldn't be sure.
How old is yours? it might be something that can be looked at under warranty, but I@ expect not.
We've sold a few of these and not had any problems with them (so-far!!) ;)

Without going back to work to check mine out (that's where I keep it) I believe quite a bit of the adjustment is done via the cable.

Iv'e not seen this model but the most common method of engaging /disengaging the drive on this type of equpment is by by tightening / un tightening the drive belt.
Two methods used are either, the engine slides or an idler pulley pivots which  applies pressure to the belt
Adjustment is usually achieved by adjusting the  length of the cable/rod  between the clutch lever and  whatever its moving so that the belt doesn't slip when engaged for digging but slips easily when disengaged for starting.
