small carrot raised bed i just built!
got to be painted and lined out and then i will fill it up to settle for next year

Can you do that to untreated wood? The other stuff is too expensive to buy.

ive got some wax based paint that i used on my trailer, thats been outside you are year and still looks new so will try that first i think as ive got it

it will do, just off cuts from a job i was doing the other day, i looked and thought to myself "thats another problem solved"

As I discovered on here a few weeks ago you can re-use the same site year after year for runner beans as their roots fix nitrogen in the soil. So no need to rotate. Can you grow carrots in the same place/container? I ask because I have had no success with carrots in my three years trying. Not a sausage.

it will do the job for a start
if i get the allotment next year i will build one on a bigger scale
im not worryed about growing alot of something, just a bit of everything :D
