Does taking the eggs away from a broody everyday affect her? I think I would like to leave both my broodies with one egg just to see what happens, but I feel a bit scared about it all. They seem to cry when I take the eggs away, like Im robbing them of their chance to be mums.
Im I stupid or what?

I know how you feel, are you going to leave eggies to hatch under them? It is lovely mind you, watching them hatch.
I have broodies at the moment that I keep having to root out of the nestboxes always makes me feel awful!
