Potato 'Volunteers' - leave them or let them grow?

I must have left some spuds in the ground when I harvested them last year, and they are growing again! Do I let them grow, or should they not be eaten? :?

If you have the space for them and they are healthy, let them be.

Perfectly good to eat.

Normally I'd go with Gobs but after we had a lot of blight last year I'm taking no chances all volunteers are killed, they could be carriers.

I'm joining Richy on this one. I've got some potato volunteers coming through,but because mine had blight last year, I'm not taking any chances, they get the chop!!!!

Mind you, saying that, I've got 2 coming in the polytunnel, even though its 2 years since I put spuds in there, and those I'm leaving.
