The dreaded red mite

We poultry shied the coop every week during the big clean but we've just seen some clear red mites on the coop door they've received a good soaking, they're the only ones we've seen in this coop, we burrned the other coop when we foound the beasties there.

Tomorrow I'll get some Diatomaceous? Earth to make up a nice thick slurry to paint in all the nooks and crannies.  While looking on the web I've seen Smite Organic Red Mite liquid and powder and wondered if anyone had used and if it was any good.

I'm feeling a bit of a Churchill moment coming on and although there are no beaches nearby, I'm going to fight these blighter's until they're dead and gone
