A few years back I had almost daily letters confirming the date for an operation supported by countless phone calls confirming the same.

We have a family member who has been in hospital since earlier this year, and despite notifying the necessary people,meds are STILL being delivered to the house, most of which are no longer needed. District nurses have also called several times!!!  What a waste of time and resources.

I have five chinese take away type containers of scissors that District nurses bring with them. I have brought up the subject with my Dr. and he says it is cheaper to issue a new pair each time than then collect them in and sterilize them them and re-issue!
