Squirrel Miice
« on: May 20, 2009, 09:03 »
I started my kidney beans in the usual manner by growing them in large wooden trays in the green house. Germination was ok, but I felt there were a few missing
In other parts of the greenhouse Tops were removed from my seedling tomatoes.
I did not think it was Slugs or snails
I placed a mouse trap and surely caught a mouse
When the beans were large enough to trans plant in the garden I removed the wooden seed tray and underneath were the missing bean seeds. Some partialy breaking into growth
The mouse must have removed them from the Tray for future use but unfortunatley was not around to benefit his Thrifty actions
