I want to grow a rose on the patio  - any advice?
It might have to be in the shade.
I live in South East London

A rose on the patio - in a pot? or is there a flower bed there? A rose would need a BIG pot
There are some small growing types that would grow well in partial shade, but roses in full shade would be difficult....
Have you any colour preference?
