Funny in that we're all different.

I'd manure a brassica bed in the Autumn than lime in the Spring.

Yeah, good point. Modified my post ... but I think "no rush" on testing the soil because liming is a longer term thing, rather than a quick fix

A bit of earthing up to help them stay upright, especially with PSB and sprouts, can help too, especially when they get taller. :)

i limed mine last november and have just fed it bfb and everything gets planted next week  :tongue2:
