we usually call Thursdays our rest day away from the usual garden and other jobs we fist of go to the village market for a cuppa a bacon butty and a chat to catch up on the village news then its of to the local garden centre or do a bit of shopping

so yesterday village market as usual then after that we went to the cinema in the afternoon as my daughter bough two tickets for us to see 1917 for my Birthday I thought it  was a  brilliant and moving film and probably very true of the events that actually took place in

We saw it last week and I was expecting something better tbh.
It fell short in so many ways, excelled in a few. The attention to detail of the uniforms, the cinematography, the trenches and the single tracking sequences were outstanding. The flying scene, although telegraphed, was superb.
The bits in between, more holes than a chunk of finest French Emmenthal!
It is worth seeing though.

I won't be more specific coz,I don't want to spoil it.
